Senior Business Developer Back to jobs

Paper.li is seeking a Senior Business Developer who is obsessed with technology, social media and business strategy. The ideal candidate will ideally have 4+ years of experience in digital media sales, working with large media corps and advertising agencies. Candidates must have strong technical competence as they will be working closely with the engineering team and must be able to earn their respect. You will be responsible for negotiating partnerships that enhance our product offerings, generate new revenue streams, drive distribution of the Paper.li brand online and offline, generate new users for the company, or otherwise add value to the Paper.li user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop & manage partnerships with publishers and third party services
• Definition and Project management of Paper.li paid premium features
• Thought leadership – immersing himself / herself in the evolving social media landscape, and adapting to Paper.li’s ongoing product developments

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of experience in digital media sales, working with large media corps and advertising agencies
• A track record demonstrating an ability to develop and grow a book of business
• Excellent communication skills (EN)
• Deep understanding of the social media landscape, and opportunities for marketers
• Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
• BA / BS degree – a plus
