Technology Lead
- Work with the founders as a meaningful stake-holder to shape the product
- Lead a team of 3 engineers & 1 QA in the design and development of Assured Labor’s multi-country web & mobile based platform
- Leverage your technical abilities to scale a web & mobile based platform across multiple continents
- Skilled in Java, Spring, and database frameworks such as Hibernate or iBatis
- Well versed in MySQL, query optimization, and database performance enhancement
- Adept at building complex JavaScript front-ends using frameworks such as jQuery and YUI
- Experienced with scaling product backends using tools such as memcached
- Multiple years of experience in developing commercial web applications
- Work with Founders, Sales and Marketing to enhance the product offering
- Manage all phases of product life cycle from design, to build to testing and release
- Enable the platform to scale as we continue to experience rapid growth and enter more countries
- We’re far enough along to pay competitively, early enough to offer a solid equity stake

The marketplace for jobs leverages mobility to reach workers that are connected by mobile phones but not consistently on the Internet. Founded at the MIT MediaLab, the company launched its Latin American marketplace, EmpleoListo, in 2009.
